How to lay it out

  • Shuffle while thinking of your question; cut the deck if you like.
  • Lay 10 cards face down in order, then turn them over one at a time.
  • Note any reversed cards; some readers use reversals, others turn every card upright.
  • Read each position, then the spread as a whole.

How to read it

Read the central cross first (cards 1–6), then the staff on the right (7–10). Compare the crown (5) with the outcome (10): are you heading towards your goal? Many Major Arcana suggest big life themes; many court cards point to people.

Tip

Take your time. Write each card down before interpreting the whole.

Remember

Tarot is a tool for reflection. It can help you think a question through, but it does not decide your future, and it is not a substitute for professional advice on health, legal or money matters.
