Traditional uses
Tarot began as a 15th-century Italian card game; it was adopted for divination in 18th-century France and shaped by the Golden Dawn in Victorian London. Today many readers use tarot for reflection: the imagery acts as a prompt to think through a question rather than a prediction. Traditional meanings are offered for interest and reflection, never as a health or medical claim.
How to use it
A simple way to begin: Start with a one-card daily draw or a three-card past–present–future spread.
Shuffle while holding a question in mind.
Care
Shuffle gently to avoid bending the edges.
Keep cards in their box or a cloth wrap away from damp.
Who it suits
A good choice for friends who are exploring tarot; beginners learning the cards; collectors who love illustrated decks.
