What it is
Tarot Card Coaster Set is a tarot set. A standard tarot deck has 78 cards: 22 major arcana and 56 minor arcana in four suits.
From the maker: Bring a little tarot magic to your coffee table with this set of four coasters, each printed with one of the Major Arcana: The Sun, The Lovers, The Star and The Moon. These four cards are among the most loved in the tarot.
Materials and size
Size: approximately 9 x 9cm. Allow for small variations between batches.
Traditional uses
Today many readers use tarot for reflection: the imagery acts as a prompt to think through a question rather than a prediction. Tarot began as a 15th-century Italian card game; it was adopted for divination in 18th-century France and shaped by the Golden Dawn in Victorian London. Traditional meanings are offered for interest and reflection, not as a health claim.
How to use it
Start with a one-card daily draw or a three-card past–present–future spread.
Journal what each card brings to mind; meaning grows with practice.
Shuffle while holding a question in mind.
Care idea: shuffle on a cloth to protect card edges.
Spread idea: a three-card spread (situation, challenge, advice) is a gentle place to start.
Journalling idea: keep a reading journal and revisit it at the next new moon.
Care
Keep cards in their box or a cloth wrap away from damp.
