What it is
Blue Moon Phase Fig & Vanilla Scented Glass Tube Candle is a ritual candle made to be lit with an intention in mind. Many spell candles include crystal chips, herbs or a printed theme.
Vanilla is a cosy, comforting scent associated in folk magic with love and warmth. The fragrance is sweet and creamy.
A moon-phase design traces the lunar cycle, the oldest calendar there is, from new moon to full and back.
Blue is associated with calm, the sea and the throat chakra, and with peace and honest speech in candle magic. Styling: blue tones suit coastal, Scandinavian and white-washed rooms, and look calm beside green plants.
From the maker: Sweeten the air with this celestial tube candle featuring a moon phase design and the scent of wild blueberry and vanilla. A beautiful pick for thoughtful gifting.
Materials and size
Size: approximately 20 x 6 x 6cm, weighing about 540g. Allow for small variations between batches.
Traditional uses
Candle magic is one of the simplest folk-magic practices: a candle is chosen by colour or theme, an intention is set, and the candle is lit and left to burn safely. Colour associations are traditional and vary between practices; for example green with abundance, pink with love, white with new beginnings and black with protection. These are traditions and beliefs, described for interest, not health or medical claims.
How to use it
Trim the wick to around 5mm before lighting.
Burn it away from draughts, curtains, children and pets, and never leave it unattended.
If it contains crystal chips, retrieve them from the wax once cool.
Place it on a heat-proof plate or holder on a stable surface.
Safety: always use a heat-proof holder on a stable surface, away from curtains, children and pets.
Ventilation: a slightly open window keeps scent pleasant and smoke light.
Gifting idea: pair it with a matching crystal or a holder for a ready-made ritual gift.
Care
Store candles flat, somewhere cool and out of sunlight so the colour doesn't fade.
Who it suits
It suits anyone new to ritual who wants a simple starting point.
