What it is
Vampire Blood Scented Candle is a ritual candle made to be lit with an intention in mind. Many spell candles include crystal chips, herbs or a printed theme.
From the maker: Whether you're staying in for a horror movie marathon or hosting a lavish dinner party with friends, this vampire blood candle will help set the scene and create a mystical atmosphere. Presented in a sleek, gothic-inspired black glass jar with a gold coloured lid for sealing in the scent when not in use.
Materials and size
Size: approximately 8 x 7.5 x 7.5cm, weighing about 370g. Allow for small variations between batches.
Traditional uses
Candle magic is one of the simplest folk-magic practices: a candle is chosen by colour or theme, an intention is set, and the candle is lit and left to burn safely. Colour associations are traditional and vary between practices; for example green with abundance, pink with love, white with new beginnings and black with protection. These are traditions and beliefs, described for interest, not health or medical claims.
How to use it
If it contains crystal chips, retrieve them from the wax once cool.
Stand it on a heat-proof plate or holder on a stable base.
Trim the wick to around 5mm before lighting.
Burn it away from draughts, curtains, children and pets, and never leave it unattended.
Moon idea: the new moon is the traditional time for beginnings and the full moon for gratitude and release.
Evening idea: light it as you switch off screens for the night, a simple cue to wind down.
Safety: always use a heat-proof holder on a stable surface, away from curtains, children and pets.
Care
Store candles flat, somewhere cool and out of sunlight so the colour doesn't fade.
