Selenite Pendants

Selenite Pendants: 3 items from £3.12. Selenite takes its name from Selene, Greek goddess of the moon, because of its pearly sheen.

How to choose selenite

  • Plates and bowls are for charging other crystals; wands and towers are display pieces.
  • Selenite is fragile; choose a thicker piece if it will be handled often.
  • Keep it dry.

Available in: Selenite.

Using and caring for them

  • Place other crystals or jewellery on it overnight as a cleansing ritual.
  • Use it as a bright, moonlike accent on an altar or bedside table.
  • Never wet selenite: it is water-soluble and will dissolve or cloud.
  • It is very soft; handle gently and keep away from damp rooms.

In modern crystal practice, selenite plates and bowls are used to cleanse or 'charge' other crystals and jewellery placed on them overnight, especially under a full moon. Traditions are described for interest; we make no health claims.

UK delivery £3.95, free over £40, 2–5 working days.
