Selenite Candle Holders

Selenite Candle Holders: 3 items from £10.00. Lighting a candle is one of the most widespread rituals, from church votives and Diwali diyas to a simple candle on a home altar.

How to choose candle and tealight holders

  • Check which candle size fits.
  • LED tealights are a safe alternative in children's rooms.

Available in: Selenite.

Using and caring for them

  • Use with tealights or the candle size given on the listing.
  • Stand it on a stable, heat-proof surface.
  • Never leave a lit flame unattended, and keep it away from curtains, children and pets.
  • Remove old wax once cool; a little warm water helps lift it from glass and ceramic.

Votive comes from the Latin votum, a vow: a votive light was lit as an offering or to keep a promise. Traditions are described for interest; we make no health claims.

UK delivery £3.95, free over £40, 2–5 working days.
