Hop Hare Crystal Magic Flower Candles

How to choose spell and ritual candles

• Choose by theme or colour that means something to you.
• Check the burn time and size on each listing.
• Always use a heat-proof holder; embedded crystals and herbs need extra care.

Using and caring for them

• Place it on a heat-proof plate or holder on a stable surface.
• Trim the wick to around 5mm before lighting.
• Burn it away from draughts, curtains, children and pets, and never leave it unattended.
• If it contains crystal chips, retrieve them from the wax once cool.
• Store candles flat, somewhere cool and out of sunlight so the colour doesn't fade.

Colour associations are traditional and vary between practices; for example green with abundance, pink with love, white with new beginnings and black with protection. Many practitioners time a candle to the moon, lighting it at the new moon for beginnings or the full moon for gratitude. Traditions are described for interest; we make no health claims.
