How to choose oil burners and wax melts
- Ceramic burners hold heat well; check the dish depth.
- Use oils made for burners; never add water to wax melts.
- Only use tealights (no larger candles) under a burner.

- Fill the dish with water, then add a few drops of oil, or drop one wax melt in the dish without water.
- Light a tealight underneath and never let the dish run dry.
- Stand it on a heat-proof surface; the dish gets hot.
- Never leave a lit flame unattended, and keep it away from curtains, children and pets.
- Let it cool fully before cleaning. For wax, freeze the dish for ten minutes and the wax pops out.
