Traditional uses
Each symbol carries its folklore: black cats were witches' familiars, the raven was Odin's messenger, the skull is the memento mori reminder to live fully, and the pentagram stands for the five elements in modern paganism. Witchy and gothic style borrows from British folk magic and the Victorian Gothic Revival: black cats, ravens, skulls, moons and pentagrams. These are traditions and beliefs, described for interest, not health or medical claims.
