What it is
Set of 12 Buddha's Blessing Premium Incense By Satya is incense made for ritual and atmosphere. Lit and left to smoulder, it releases a steady fragrant smoke that fills a room.
Satya is the incense house of Shrinivas Sugandhalaya, founded in Bangalore in 1964 and famous for its Nag Champa; its sticks are hand-rolled in the masala style.
The Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama, taught in northern India around the 5th century BCE. Statues show him in mudras, hand gestures that each carry a meaning, such as touching the earth or turning the wheel of the teachings.
