What it is
Esoteric Fringed Altar Cloth - Horoscope is a printed cloth of about 50x50cm for an altar or tarot reading surface.
The zodiac divides the sky into twelve signs along the path of the sun, a system that goes back to Babylonian astronomers.
At around 50cm this is the large, statement option: a centrepiece for a dresser, altar or sound space. Large pieces hold a whole collection of stones or jewellery and give the deepest, fullest presence in a room.
From the maker: Connect with the wisdom of the zodiac and the stars with our Esoteric Fringed Altar Cloth featuring the Horoscope design. Crafted from cotton and finished with an elegant fringed border, this 50 x 50cm cloth is the perfect size to ground your spiritual practice.
The Esoteric Fringed Altar Cloth range comes in 5 versions. If Horoscope isn't quite right, compare Life Death Rebirth or Moon & Sun Chart or Chakra Chart.
Materials and size
Size: approximately 50x50cm. Allow for small variations between batches.
Traditional uses
A cloth marks out a space as special, and tarot readers have long laid cards on fabric to protect them and focus the reading. These are traditions and beliefs, described for interest, not health or medical claims.
How to use it
Lay it flat on a table or shelf as the base of an altar or spread.
Display idea: group tools by element or colour for a calm, intentional look.
Altar idea: build around the four elements: a candle for fire, incense for air, a stone for earth and water in a bowl.
Seasonal idea: refresh the altar at each festival of the Wheel of the Year, from Imbolc to Yule.
Care
Hand wash cool and air dry.
Who it suits
Ideal for tarot readers. At £4.00 it also works as a small add-on gift or stocking filler.
