What it is
Aura Energy Lotus Mint Tea Iridescent Candle is a ritual candle made to be lit with an intention in mind. Many spell candles include crystal chips, herbs or a printed theme.
The lotus grows from mud to bloom clean on the water, which is why it symbolises purity and awakening in Buddhist and Hindu art.
From the maker: Invite a sense of balance and clarity into your surroundings with the crisp, uplifting scent of Lotus Mint Tea, set in a shimmering iridescent glass holder. Approximately 35-hour burn time.
Materials and size
Size: approximately 9 x 8 x 8cm, weighing about 475g. Allow for small variations between batches.
Traditional uses
Candle magic is one of the simplest folk-magic practices: a candle is chosen by colour or theme, an intention is set, and the candle is lit and left to burn safely. Colour associations are traditional and vary between practices; for example green with abundance, pink with love, white with new beginnings and black with protection. Aura quartz is a modern creation. Its shimmering finish is associated in contemporary practice with joy and creativity, and it is chosen mainly for its striking colour. Traditional meanings are offered for interest and reflection, not as a health claim.
How to use it
Burn it away from draughts, curtains, children and pets, and never leave it unattended.
If it contains crystal chips, retrieve them from the wax once cool.
Set it on a heat-proof plate or holder on a stable spot.
Trim the wick to around 5mm before lighting.
Evening idea: light it as you switch off screens for the night, a simple cue to wind down.
Safety: always use a heat-proof holder on a stable surface, away from curtains, children and pets.
Ventilation: a slightly open window keeps scent pleasant and smoke light.
Care
Store candles flat, somewhere cool and out of sunlight so the colour doesn't fade.
Who it suits
