A ritual you can actually finish
Four steps, one of them optional, none of them magical by force.
Light something only if you can do it safely: a candle on a stable dish, away from fabric, children and pets, never left in an empty room. If flame is a bad idea tonight, skip it. The ritual is the attention, not the fire.
Write one sentence you mean. Not a manifesto. 'I will leave the phone in the other room until morning' is a ritual. 'I attract limitless abundance' is a poster. Prefer the sentence you could keep.
Sit for the length of a piece of music, or for four slow breaths. Then put the pen down. A ritual that needs seventeen tools will not survive a Tuesday.
Nothing in the sequence obliges the universe to reply. The benefit on offer is that you noticed what you wanted, and you stopped long enough to mean it.
