Lavender's name comes from the Latin lavare, 'to wash'; it scented Roman baths and English linen cupboards. The fragrance is floral, fresh and herbal. Pisces (19 February – 20 March) is the mutable water sign, traditionally ruled by Jupiter and pictured as two fishes; astrology links it with imagination and empathy. From the maker: Soft French lavender gives this Pisces zodiac candle a calming floral fragrance paired with a dreamy, colourful design inspired by the sign of the fish. A thoughtful birthday present, bedside accessory or relaxing home fragrance gift for a creative Pisces. Size: approximately 9 x 8 x 8cm, weighing about 455g. Allow for small variations between batches. ## Traditions (belief, not health claims) Some owners light their sign's candle on their birthday or when the sun enters their sign, as a small ritual of reflection. Astrology links each of the twelve signs with an element, a ruling planet and traditional traits. A sign candle is a personal way to mark a birthday or a new solar year. These are traditions and beliefs, described for interest, not health or medical claims. ## How to use - Let the first burn melt the surface edge to edge to avoid tunnelling. - Retrieve crystals or jewellery only when the wax is completely cool. - Never leave a lit flame unattended, and keep it away from curtains, children and pets. - Trim the wick to 5mm and burn on a heat-proof surface. - Safety: always use a heat-proof holder on a stable surface, away from curtains, children and pets. - Ventilation: a slightly open window keeps scent pleasant and smoke light. - Gifting idea: pair it with a matching crystal or a holder for a ready-made ritual gift. ## Care - Store away from sunlight so the colour doesn't fade. ## Policies - Delivery: UK delivery £3.95, free over £40, 2–5 working days.
