## Description

Witching Hour White Sage Candle is a ritual candle made to be lit with an intention in mind. Many spell candles include crystal chips, herbs or a printed theme.

White sage has been burned in Indigenous ceremonies of the Americas; in modern practice its smoke is associated with clearing a space. The fragrance is herbal, clean and camphor-like.

White stands for new beginnings and cleansing, and can stand in for any other colour in candle magic. Styling: white is the most versatile finish, fitting minimal, Scandi and bohemian rooms alike.

From the maker: Indulge your senses with an enchanting blend of darkness and allure with this Witching Hour fragranced candle. Infused with the captivating scent of white sage, its bewitching aroma will put you under its spell.

Size: approximately 8.5 x 7.5 x 7.5cm, weighing about 335g. Allow for small variations between batches.

## Traditions (belief, not health claims)

Candle magic is one of the simplest folk-magic practices: a candle is chosen by colour or theme, an intention is set, and the candle is lit and left to burn safely. Colour associations are traditional and vary between practices; for example green with abundance, pink with love, white with new beginnings and black with protection. Traditional meanings are offered for interest and reflection, not as a health claim.

## How to use

- Burn it away from draughts, curtains, children and pets, and never leave it unattended.
- If it contains crystal chips, retrieve them from the wax once cool.
- Set it on a heat-proof plate or holder on a stable spot.
- Trim the wick to around 5mm before lighting.
- Evening idea: light it as you switch off screens for the night, a simple cue to wind down.
- Safety: always use a heat-proof holder on a stable surface, away from curtains, children and pets.
- Ventilation: a slightly open window keeps scent pleasant and smoke light.

## Care

- Store candles flat, somewhere cool and out of sunlight so the colour doesn't fade.
