## Description

The Sacred Forest Oracle Cards is a card deck for reflection and divination. Unlike tarot, oracle decks set their own number of cards and meanings, explained in the guidebook.

The Sacral chakra, Svadhisthana in Sanskrit, sits at just below the navel in yogic tradition and is associated with creativity, pleasure and flow. Its traditional colour is orange, its element is water and its seed sound (bija mantra) is VAM.

From the maker: The Sacred Forest Oracle card deck by Denise Linn includes a 52-card deck and 144 page guidebook. This deck opens the user's inner self to expand and enlighten their spiritual journey.

Size: approximately 13.8 x 10 x 4cm, weighing about 415g. Allow for small variations between batches.

## Traditions (belief, not health claims)

Modern oracle decks commonly grow out of a theme, such as angels, the moon, animals or goddesses, and the artist’s imagery becomes the language of the reading. Many readers keep an oracle deck beside a tarot deck, drawing one oracle card to sum up a tarot spread. These are traditions and beliefs, described for interest, not health or medical claims.

## How to use

- To work with the Sacral Chakra, many practitioners play or place it while focusing on just below the navel.
- At the new moon, draw a card as a theme for the month ahead and revisit it at the full moon.
- Read the artwork first and the guidebook second; your own first impression is part of the practice.
- Shuffle, draw one card and read its meaning in the guidebook.
- Write down what it brings to mind for the day ahead.
- Daily idea: draw a single card each morning and jot down one word it brings to mind.
- Learning idea: work through the major arcana one card a day for 22 days.
- Gifting idea: decks make lovely gifts; the folklore that you mustn't buy your own deck is just folklore.

## Care

- Keep the deck in its box away from damp.
