A standard tarot deck has 78 cards: 22 major arcana and 56 minor arcana in four suits. The Ancient Witch designs draw on British folk witchcraft imagery: moons, herbs and familiars. At around 75cm this is the large, statement option: a centrepiece for a dresser, altar or sound space. Large pieces hold a whole collection of stones or jewellery and give the deepest, fullest presence in a room. From the maker: Channel your inner witch with this beautifully detailed Ancient Witch Reading Cloth. Crafted from smooth polyester and sized 75x75cm, it features mystical patterns that frame your cards in enchanting symmetry. The Tarot Reading Cloth range comes in 3 versions. If Ancient Witch isn't quite right, compare Tree of Life or Zodiac. Size: approximately 75 x 75cm. Allow for small variations between batches. ## Traditions (belief, not health claims) Tarot began as a 15th-century Italian card game; it was adopted for divination in 18th-century France and shaped by the Golden Dawn in Victorian London. Traditional meanings are offered for interest and reflection, not as a health claim. ## How to use - Shuffle while holding a question in mind. - Start with a one-card daily draw or a three-card past–present–future spread. - Daily idea: draw a single card each morning and jot down one word it brings to mind. - Learning idea: work through the major arcana one card a day for 22 days. - Gifting idea: decks make lovely gifts; the folklore that you mustn't buy your own deck is just folklore. ## Care - Keep cards in their box or a cloth wrap away from damp. ## Policies - Delivery: UK delivery £3.95, free over £40, 2–5 working days.
