## Description

Summon the Spirits Talking Board White Sage Candle is a ritual candle made to be lit with an intention in mind. Many spell candles include crystal chips, herbs or a printed theme.

White sage has been burned in Indigenous ceremonies of the Americas; in modern practice its smoke is associated with clearing a space. The fragrance is herbal, clean and camphor-like.

White stands for new beginnings and cleansing, and can stand in for any other colour in candle magic. Styling: white is the most versatile finish, fitting minimal, Scandi and bohemian rooms alike.

From the maker: Set a spooky scene with the help of this white sage candle with a mystical spirit board inspired design. When not in use, the cork lid can be used to seal in the scent for a more treasured burst of fragrance once lit.

Size: approximately 8.4 x 7.4 x 7.4cm, weighing about 335g. Allow for small variations between batches.

## Traditions (belief, not health claims)

Many practitioners time a candle to the moon, lighting it at the new moon for beginnings or the full moon for gratitude. Candle magic is one of the simplest folk-magic practices: a candle is chosen by colour or theme, an intention is set, and the candle is lit and left to burn safely. Traditional meanings are offered for interest and reflection, not as a health claim.

## How to use

- Burn it away from draughts, curtains, children and pets, and never leave it unattended.
- If it contains crystal chips, retrieve them from the wax once cool.
- Set it on a heat-proof plate or holder on a stable spot.
- Trim the wick to around 5mm before lighting.
- Journalling idea: note the date, the moon phase and what you wished for, and look back a month later.
- Storage: keep spares somewhere cool and dark so colours and scents stay fresh.
- Ritual idea: write your intention on a slip of paper, read it aloud, then light the candle or incense.

## Care

- Store candles flat, somewhere cool and out of sunlight so the colour doesn't fade.
