Lit and lightly extinguished, it smoulders and releases aromatic smoke. White sage has been burned in Indigenous ceremonies of the Americas; in modern practice its smoke is associated with clearing a space. The fragrance is herbal, clean and camphor-like. White stands for new beginnings and cleansing, and can stand in for any other colour in candle magic. Styling: white is the most versatile finish, fitting minimal, Scandi and bohemian rooms alike. At around 10cm this is the mid-sized option: big enough to notice on a shelf, small enough for a desk or windowsill. Mid sizes are the most versatile: they hold a bracelet or a handful of tumbles, or sit happily on a bedside table. Also in this range (7 in total): Black Sage 15cm, Happy Spirit Sage 10cm, Ruda Rue Sage 10cm. Size: approximately 10cm. Allow for small variations between batches. ## Traditions (belief, not health claims) Burning bundles of sacred herbs is rooted in the ceremonies of Indigenous peoples of the Americas; we encourage learning those origins respectfully. We share these as cultural traditions and personal beliefs only, never as health claims. ## How to use - Walk the smoke around the space and open a window. - Extinguish fully by pressing into sand or a dish; never leave it smouldering. - Evening idea: light it as you switch off screens for the night, a simple cue to wind down. - Safety: always use a heat-proof holder on a stable surface, away from curtains, children and pets. - Ventilation: a slightly open window keeps scent pleasant and smoke light. ## Care - Keep it dry and in its wrapper until use. ## Policies - Delivery: UK delivery £3.95, free over £40, 2–5 working days. UK addresses only. - Returns: You can cancel within 14 days of delivery under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations; email hello@starseeduk.co.uk to arrange a return and we refund within 14 days of receiving it back. - Payment: Payment is by debit or credit card (and the wallets Shopify supports) through secure Shopify checkout. ## Other versions - [Smudge Stick - Black Sage 15cm](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/products/smudge-stick-black-sage-15cm051): £7.08 - [Smudge Stick - Happy Spirit Sage 10cm](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/products/smudge-stick-happy-spirit-sage-10cm054): £6.36 - [Smudge Stick - Ruda Rue Sage 10cm](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/products/smudge-stick-ruda-rue-sage-10cm051): £6.36 - [Smudge Stick - White Sage, Ginger and Cedar](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/products/smudge-stick-white-sage-ginger-and-cedar453): £6.24 - [Smudge Stick - White Sage & Lavender 22.5cm](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/products/smudge-stick-white-sage-lavender-225cm055): £12.80 - [Smudge Stick - White Sage & Ruda 10cm](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/products/smudge-stick-white-sage-ruda-10cm056): £6.00 ## Questions and answers (14) ### What is the Smudge Stick - White Sage & Yerba Santa 10cm used for?
