Many spell candles include crystal chips, herbs or a printed theme. From the maker: From candlelit dinners to eerie mood lighting, this small Vampire Blood pillar candle will entrance guests with its eye-catching, bleeding wax effect. Place this unique candle on an ornate pedestal holder for a truly bewitching display when the warm wax 'bleeds' down its sides. Size: approximately 7.5 x 7.5 x 7.5cm, weighing about 285g. Allow for small variations between batches. ## Traditions (belief, not health claims) Many practitioners time a candle to the moon, lighting it at the new moon for beginnings or the full moon for gratitude. Candle magic is one of the simplest folk-magic practices: a candle is chosen by colour or theme, an intention is set, and the candle is lit and left to burn safely. These are traditions and beliefs, described for interest, not health or medical claims. ## How to use - Trim the wick to around 5mm before lighting. - Burn it away from draughts, curtains, children and pets, and never leave it unattended. - If it contains crystal chips, retrieve them from the wax once cool. - Place it on a heat-proof plate or holder on a stable surface. - Storage: keep spares somewhere cool and dark so colours and scents stay fresh. - Ritual idea: write your intention on a slip of paper, read it aloud, then light the candle or incense. - Moon idea: the new moon is the traditional time for beginnings and the full moon for gratitude and release. ## Care - Store candles flat, somewhere cool and out of sunlight so the colour doesn't fade. ## Policies - Delivery: UK delivery £3.95, free over £40, 2–5 working days.
