## Description

Small Purple Crystal Ball on Stand is a polished gemstone sphere of about 19.5 x 9 x 9cm supplied with a stand. A sphere shows off the colour and inner pattern of a stone from every angle.

Purple has been the colour of royalty and the spiritual since Tyrian dye cost more than gold; in candle and chakra tradition it is linked with the crown. Styling: purple sits well against grey, cream and brass, and looks rich in a dim, lamp-lit corner.

From the maker: A treasured tool for fortune telling and scrying, this purple crystal ball also provides an eyecatching decorative piece for the home. Comes with a black wooden stand.

Size: approximately 19.5 x 9 x 9cm, weighing about 960g. Allow for small variations between batches.

## Traditions (belief, not health claims)

In modern crystal practice a sphere is said to radiate energy evenly in all directions, which is why spheres are frequently placed at the centre of a room or altar. Spheres have a long history in scrying, the practice of gazing into a reflective base for insight; clear crystal balls were used for this in medieval and Victorian Europe. These are traditions and beliefs, described for interest, not health or medical claims.

## How to use

- Keep spheres out of strong sunlight: a clear sphere can focus light like a lens.
- Display it on its stand away from the edge of a shelf.
- Try a few minutes of quiet gazing, letting your thoughts settle.
- Bathroom caution: keep softer or water-sensitive stones out of steamy rooms.
- Children: small stones and points are not toys for under-threes, as they are a choking hazard.
- Photography tip: natural daylight on an overcast day shows a stone's true colour best.

## Care

- Handle with dry hands and set it down on a soft surface.
