## Description

Small Black Crystal Ball on Stand is a polished gemstone sphere of about 19 x 9 x 9cm supplied with a stand. A sphere shows off the colour and inner pattern of a stone from every angle.

Black is the traditional colour of protection and of banishing what is unwanted. Styling: black looks dramatic on a gothic altar and crisp against white walls.

From the maker: This small, black crystal ball is not only a treasured tool in fortune telling and scrying, but also makes an eye-catching piece of d?cor. Whether used for divination or a table accessory at Halloween, this crystal ball is sure to be a conversation piece.

Size: approximately 19 x 9 x 9cm, weighing about 992g. Allow for small variations between batches.

## Traditions (belief, not health claims)

Spheres have a long history in scrying, the practice of gazing into a reflective surface for insight; clear crystal balls were used for this in medieval and Victorian Europe. In modern crystal practice a sphere is said to radiate energy evenly in all directions, which is why spheres are often placed at the centre of a room or altar. We share these as cultural traditions and personal beliefs only, never as health claims.

## How to use

- Try a few minutes of quiet gazing, letting your thoughts settle.
- Keep spheres out of strong sunlight: a clear sphere can focus light like a lens.
- Display it on its stand away from the edge of a shelf.
- Placement idea: a windowsill that catches the morning light (but not harsh midday sun) shows off colour and inclusions beautifully.
- Desk idea: keep it beside your keyboard as a cue to pause, breathe and look away from the screen for a moment.
- Bedside idea: some people hold a stone for a minute before sleep and set one small intention for the next day.

## Care

- Handle with dry hands and set it down on a gentle spot.
