Many spell candles include crystal chips, herbs or a printed theme. The pentagram's five points are linked in modern paganism with earth, air, fire, water and spirit. Black is the traditional colour of protection and of banishing what is unwanted. Styling: black looks dramatic on a gothic altar and crisp against white walls. From the maker: This pack of 3 black taper candles are perfect for adding final finishing touches to a table setting or adding decorative accents around the home. Adorned with a mystical pentagram design, the candles offer the perfect blend of elegance and magical symbolism and are a must-have for anyone seeking to add a unique touch to their living space. Size: approximately 25.5 x 2 x 2cm, weighing about 52g. Allow for small variations between batches. ## Traditions (belief, not health claims) Colour associations are traditional and vary between practices; for example green with abundance, pink with love, white with new beginnings and black with protection. Many practitioners time a candle to the moon, lighting it at the new moon for beginnings or the full moon for gratitude. Traditional meanings are offered for interest and reflection, not as a health claim. ## How to use - Trim the wick to around 5mm before lighting. - Burn it away from draughts, curtains, children and pets, and never leave it unattended. - If it contains crystal chips, retrieve them from the wax once cool. - Place it on a heat-proof plate or holder on a stable surface. - Safety: always use a heat-proof holder on a stable surface, away from curtains, children and pets. - Ventilation: a slightly open window keeps scent pleasant and smoke light. - Gifting idea: pair it with a matching crystal or a holder for a ready-made ritual gift. ## Care - Store candles flat, somewhere cool and out of sunlight so the colour doesn't fade. ## Policies - Delivery: UK delivery £3.95, free over £40, 2–5 working days. UK addresses only. - Returns: You can cancel within 14 days of delivery under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations; email hello@starseeduk.co.uk to arrange a return and we refund within 14 days of receiving it back. - Payment: Payment is by debit or credit card (and the wallets Shopify supports) through secure Shopify checkout. ## Questions and answers (19) ### What is the Set of 3 Black Magic Pentagram Taper Candles used for?
