## Description

Set of 12 Positive Vibes Dhoop Incense Cones by Satya is incense made for ritual and atmosphere. Lit and left to smoulder, it releases a steady fragrant smoke that fills a room.

Satya is the incense house of Shrinivas Sugandhalaya, founded in Bangalore in 1964 and famous for its Nag Champa; its sticks are hand-rolled in the masala style.

From the maker: Stock up on the bestselling Satya brand with this display set of dhoop incense cones, featuring 12 packs of Postive Vibes fragranced cones. Each cone burns smoothly in standard incense cone holders, creating a soothing space perfect for meditation, yoga, or unwinding at home.

Size: approximately 5 x 14 x 18.5cm, weighing about 375g. Allow for small variations between batches.

## Traditions (belief, not health claims)

In India, hand-rolled masala sticks are made by coating a bamboo core with a paste of resins, herbs, flowers and wood powder, a craft passed down through families in Bangalore and Mysore. In Japan, the incense ceremony kōdō treats fragrance as an art: practitioners speak of ‘listening’ to incense rather than smelling it. We share these as cultural traditions and personal beliefs only, never as health claims.

## How to use

- Ventilate the room and never leave it unattended.
- Light a single stick at the start of a reading, journalling session or meditation and stop when it burns out: a natural timer of 30–45 minutes.
- Try one scent for a week before switching, so you learn to recognise it.
- Keep incense well away from smoke alarms, curtains and bookshelves.
- Ritual idea: write your intention on a slip of paper, read it aloud, then light the candle or incense.
- Moon idea: the new moon is the traditional time for beginnings and the full moon for gratitude and release.
- Evening idea: light it as you switch off screens for the night, a simple cue to wind down.

## Care

- Store sealed in a cool, dry set to keep the fragrance fresh.
