Lit and left to smoulder, it releases a steady fragrant smoke that fills a room. Musk is a deep base note traditionally linked with sensuality. The fragrance is warm and musky. Satya is the incense house of Shrinivas Sugandhalaya, founded in Bangalore in 1964 and famous for its Nag Champa; its sticks are hand-rolled in the masala style. From the maker: Satya incense sticks in the popular scent 'Musk'.This pack is perfect for stocking up as it contains 12 individual packs, each containing 10-12 vegan friendly incense sticks. Satya incense is created using artisanal methods handed down generation to generation, using only the highest quality ingredients. Size: approximately 12.5 x 22 x 8cm, weighing about 390g. Allow for small variations between batches. ## Traditions (belief, not health claims) In Japan, the incense ceremony kōdō treats fragrance as an art: practitioners speak of ‘listening’ to incense rather than smelling it. Backflow and dhoop cones are a newer form: dense, stickless cones that burn quickly with a rich scent, much-chosen for short rituals. These are traditions and beliefs, described for interest, not health or medical claims. ## How to use - Light a single stick at the start of a reading, journalling session or meditation and stop when it burns out: a natural timer of 30–45 minutes. - Try one scent for a week before switching, so you learn to recognise it. - Keep incense well away from smoke alarms, curtains and bookshelves. - Set a simple intention, then light the incense and blow out the flame. - Safety: always use a heat-proof holder on a stable surface, away from curtains, children and pets. - Ventilation: a slightly open window keeps scent pleasant and smoke light. - Gifting idea: pair it with a matching crystal or a holder for a ready-made ritual gift. ## Care - Store sealed in a cool, dry put to keep the fragrance fresh. ## Policies - Delivery: UK delivery £3.95, free over £40, 2–5 working days. UK addresses only. - Returns: You can cancel within 14 days of delivery under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations; email hello@starseeduk.co.uk to arrange a return and we refund within 14 days of receiving it back. - Payment: Payment is by debit or credit card (and the wallets Shopify supports) through secure Shopify checkout. ## Questions and answers (20) ### What is the Set of 12 Musk Incense Sticks by Satya used for?
