Many spell candles include crystal chips, herbs or a printed theme. Ravens are messengers in Norse myth (Huginn and Muninn, 'thought' and 'memory') and guardians at the Tower of London. A raven-themed candle suits rituals of reflection and remembering. Ravens are Odin's messengers Huginn and Muninn, 'thought' and 'memory', in Norse myth, and legend says the kingdom will fall if the ravens leave the Tower of London. From the maker: Illuminate your surroundings with this glass tube candle featuring a deadly nightshade-inspired design, perfect for setting a mysterious mood. A wonderful gift for gothic candle lovers or an elegant addition to your home décor. Size: approximately 21 x 5.5 x 5.5cm, weighing about 585g. Allow for small variations between batches. ## Traditions (belief, not health claims) Colour associations are traditional and vary between practices; for example green with abundance, pink with love, white with new beginnings and black with protection. Many practitioners time a candle to the moon, lighting it at the new moon for beginnings or the full moon for gratitude. Traditional meanings are offered for interest and reflection, not as a health claim. ## How to use - For a ravens' remedy ritual: a raven-themed candle suits rituals of reflection and remembering. - Rest it on a heat-proof plate or holder on a stable surface. - Trim the wick to around 5mm before lighting. - Burn it away from draughts, curtains, children and pets, and never leave it unattended. - If it contains crystal chips, retrieve them from the wax once cool. - Ventilation: a slightly open window keeps scent pleasant and smoke light. - Gifting idea: pair it with a matching crystal or a holder for a ready-made ritual gift. - Journalling idea: note the date, the moon phase and what you wished for, and look back a month later. ## Care - Store candles flat, somewhere cool and out of sunlight so the colour doesn't fade. ## Policies - Delivery: UK delivery £3.95, free over £40, 2–5 working days.
