Many spell candles include crystal chips, herbs or a printed theme. Ravens are messengers in Norse myth (Huginn and Muninn, 'thought' and 'memory') and guardians at the Tower of London. A raven-themed candle suits rituals of reflection and remembering. Ravens are Odin's messengers Huginn and Muninn, 'thought' and 'memory', in Norse myth, and legend says the kingdom will fall if the ravens leave the Tower of London. From the maker: Add some mystery to any space with this apothecary-inspired deadly nightshade scented candle. Featuring a gothic, mystic raven design, this candle is perfect for those who love the dark and enchanting. Size: approximately 14 x 6.5 x 6.5cm, weighing about 510g. Allow for small variations between batches. ## Traditions (belief, not health claims) Many practitioners time a candle to the moon, lighting it at the new moon for beginnings or the full moon for gratitude. Candle magic is one of the simplest folk-magic practices: a candle is chosen by colour or theme, an intention is set, and the candle is lit and left to burn safely. We share these as cultural traditions and personal beliefs only, never as health claims. ## How to use - For a ravens' remedy ritual: a raven-themed candle suits rituals of reflection and remembering. - Burn it away from draughts, curtains, children and pets, and never leave it unattended. - If it contains crystal chips, retrieve them from the wax once cool. - Set it on a heat-proof plate or holder on a stable spot. - Trim the wick to around 5mm before lighting. - Journalling idea: note the date, the moon phase and what you wished for, and look back a month later. - Storage: keep spares somewhere cool and dark so colours and scents stay fresh. - Ritual idea: write your intention on a slip of paper, read it aloud, then light the candle or incense. ## Care - Store candles flat, somewhere cool and out of sunlight so the colour doesn't fade. ## Policies - Delivery: UK delivery £3.95, free over £40, 2–5 working days.
