Lit and left to smoulder, it releases a steady fragrant smoke that fills a room. Luck candles are often green, the folk colour of good fortune, and sometimes carry a horseshoe, clover or charm. Traditionally they are lit before a new venture, a test or a draw, often on the waxing moon. Pairing a luck candle with green aventurine, the 'gambler's stone', is a popular combination. This is a themed range from a UK giftware designer, made in India in the traditional way. From the maker: Uncover messages in the smoke with this Mystic Ember fortune telling incense cone set, complete with 15 frankincense scented cones and a mystical hand-shaped incense holder for rituals, reflection and divination. A thoughtful gift for birthdays, spiritual occasions or anyone building a fortune telling practice at home. Size: approximately 17.5 x 14.5 x 3cm, weighing about 210g. Allow for small variations between batches. ## Traditions (belief, not health claims) In modern witchcraft and folk magic, incense is chosen by intention, and its smoke is said to carry a wish or prayer upward. These are beliefs and traditions. In India, hand-rolled masala sticks are made by coating a bamboo core with a paste of resins, herbs, flowers and wood powder, a craft passed down through families in Bangalore and Mysore. Traditional meanings are offered for interest and reflection, not as a health claim. ## How to use - For a luck ritual: pairing a luck candle with green aventurine, the 'gambler's stone', is a popular combination. - Use a heat-proof burner or ash catcher. - Ventilate the room and never leave it unattended. - Light a single stick at the start of a reading, journalling session or meditation and stop when it burns out: a natural timer of 30–45 minutes. - Try one scent for a week before switching, so you learn to recognise it. - Safety: always use a heat-proof holder on a stable surface, away from curtains, children and pets. - Ventilation: a slightly open window keeps scent pleasant and smoke light. - Gifting idea: pair it with a matching crystal or a holder for a ready-made ritual gift. ## Care - Store sealed in a cool, dry put to keep the fragrance fresh. ## Policies - Delivery: UK delivery £3.95, free over £40, 2–5 working days. UK addresses only. - Returns: You can cancel within 14 days of delivery under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations; email hello@starseeduk.co.uk to arrange a return and we refund within 14 days of receiving it back. - Payment: Payment is by debit or credit card (and the wallets Shopify supports) through secure Shopify checkout. ## Questions and answers (20) ### What is the Mystic Ember Fortune Telling Incense Cone Set used for?
