## Description

Moonwave Cottage Oil Burner is a tealight oil burner: a small dish of water and oil sits above a tealight and softly warms to scent a room.

It is made from glazed ceramic, so wipe it clean rather than scrubbing and handle it with care.

From the maker: Let elemental water magic ripple through the home with this Moonwave Cottage oil burner, featuring a deep blue finish, golden moon details and a sculpted wave roof. Perfect for solstice rituals, moonlit self-care moments and mystical home styling.

Size: approximately 17.5 x 10.5 x 9cm, weighing about 470g. Allow for small variations between batches.

## Traditions (belief, not health claims)

In modern home ritual, a favourite scent marks a change of mood, such as lighting the burner when work ends for the day. Scenting a room with warmed oils has ancient roots: Egyptian, Greek and Roman homes burned perfumed oils in clay lamps. These are traditions and beliefs, described for interest, not health or medical claims.

## How to use

- Light a tealight underneath and never let the dish run dry.
- Stand it on a heat-proof surface; the dish gets hot.
- Never leave a lit flame unattended, and keep it away from curtains, children and pets.
- Fill the dish with water, then add a few drops of oil, or drop one wax melt in the dish without water.
- Safety: always use a heat-proof holder on a stable surface, away from curtains, children and pets.
- Ventilation: a slightly open window keeps scent pleasant and smoke light.
- Gifting idea: pair it with a matching crystal or a holder for a ready-made ritual gift.

## Care

- Let it cool fully before cleaning. For wax, freeze the dish for ten minutes and the wax pops out.
