Ravens are messengers in Norse myth (Huginn and Muninn, 'thought' and 'memory') and guardians at the Tower of London. A raven-themed candle suits rituals of reflection and remembering. Ravens are Odin's messengers Huginn and Muninn, 'thought' and 'memory', in Norse myth, and legend says the kingdom will fall if the ravens leave the Tower of London. Its metal finish is decorative; keep it dry to stop marks forming. From the maker: This metal raven ornament brings plenty of Halloween mischief with its tall witch hat, bright beak and characterful design. Perfect for spooky shelves, covered porches, party displays and seasonal shop windows, it is a striking pick for lovers of gothic Halloween decor. Size: approximately 26 x 8.5 x 24.5cm, weighing about 300g. Allow for small variations between batches. ## Traditions (belief, not health claims) Each symbol carries its folklore: black cats were witches' familiars, the raven was Odin's messenger, the skull is the memento mori reminder to live fully, and the pentagram stands for the five elements in modern paganism. Witchy and gothic style borrows from British folk magic and the Victorian Gothic Revival: black cats, ravens, skulls, moons and pentagrams. We share these as cultural traditions and personal beliefs only, never as health claims. ## How to use - For a ravens' remedy ritual: a raven-themed candle suits rituals of reflection and remembering. - Mix with candles, dried flowers and books for an all-year gothic shelf. - Build a seasonal Samhain or Halloween display. - Small-space idea: a single shelf, a windowsill or a tray can hold a complete altar. - Gifting idea: ritual tools are personal; a gift card or a note inviting the recipient to choose can be just as welcome. - Care idea: wipe tools after each ritual so wax, ash and water marks don't build up. ## Care - Dust with a dry cloth; keep metal pieces dry. ## Policies - Delivery: UK delivery £3.95, free over £40, 2–5 working days.
