Many spell candles include crystal chips, herbs or a printed theme. The Root chakra, Muladhara in Sanskrit, sits at the base of the spine in yogic tradition and is associated with stability, safety and feeling at home in your body. Its traditional colour is red, its element is earth and its seed sound (bija mantra) is LAM. Red is the colour of passion, courage and the root chakra. Styling: red warms a room; it stands out against dark wood, black and cream. At around 16cm this is the large, statement option: a centrepiece for a dresser, altar or sound space. Large pieces hold a whole collection of stones or jewellery and give the deepest, fullest presence in a room. From the maker: Present the Manifest Magic Candle as a potent tool for your customers, igniting desires and elevating spiritual journeys. These candles, exquisitely crafted and intention-infused, serve meditation, spiritual practices, or simply create a transformative, serene atmosphere. This is one of 10 options in the Manifest Magic Candles (pack of 12) range; nearby choices include Violet - Crown Chakra, Yellow - Solar Plexus Chakra, Black. Size: approximately 16 x 7.5 x 2.5cm. Allow for small variations between batches. ## Traditions (belief, not health claims) Candle magic is one of the simplest folk-magic practices: a candle is chosen by colour or theme, an intention is set, and the candle is lit and left to burn safely. The chakra system comes from Indian tantric and yogic traditions, which describe seven energy centres from the root to the crown, each traditionally given a colour. We share these as cultural traditions and personal beliefs only, never as health claims. ## How to use - To work with the Root Chakra, many practitioners play or place it while focusing on the base of the spine. - If it contains crystal chips, retrieve them from the wax once cool. - Place it on a heat-proof plate or holder on a stable surface. - Gifting idea: pair it with a matching crystal or a holder for a ready-made ritual gift. - Journalling idea: note the date, the moon phase and what you wished for, and look back a month later. - Storage: keep spares somewhere cool and dark so colours and scents stay fresh. ## Care - Store candles flat, somewhere cool and out of sunlight so the colour doesn't fade. ## Policies - Delivery: UK delivery £3.95, free over £40, 2–5 working days. UK addresses only. - Returns: You can cancel within 14 days of delivery under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations; email hello@starseeduk.co.uk to arrange a return and we refund within 14 days of receiving it back. - Payment: Payment is by debit or credit card (and the wallets Shopify supports) through secure Shopify checkout. ## Other versions - [Manifest Magic Candles (pack of 12) - Black](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/products/manifest-magic-candles-pack-of-12-black069): £1.72 - [Manifest Magic Candles (pack of 12) - Blue - Throat Chakra](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/products/manifest-magic-candles-pack-of-12-blue-throat-chakra066): £1.72 - [Manifest Magic Candles (pack of 12) - Green - Heart Chakra](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/products/manifest-magic-candles-pack-of-12-green-heart-chakra069): £1.72 - [Manifest Magic Candles (pack of 12) - Indigo - Third Eye Chakra](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/products/manifest-magic-candles-pack-of-12-indigo-third-eye-chakra969): £1.72 - [Manifest Magic Candles (pack of 12) - Ivory](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/products/manifest-magic-candles-pack-of-12-ivory070): £1.72 - [Manifest Magic Candles (pack of 12) - Orange - Sacred Chakra](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/products/manifest-magic-candles-pack-of-12-orange-sacred-chakra004): £1.72 - [Manifest Magic Candles (pack of 12) - Pink](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/products/manifest-magic-candles-pack-of-12-pink072): £1.72 - [Manifest Magic Candles (pack of 12) - Violet - Crown Chakra](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/products/manifest-magic-candles-pack-of-12-violet-crown-chakra953): £1.72 - [Manifest Magic Candles (pack of 12) - Yellow - Solar Plexus Chakra](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/products/manifest-magic-candles-pack-of-12-yellow-solar-plexus-chakra056): £1.72 ## Questions and answers (14) ### What is the Manifest Magic Candles (pack of 12) - Red - Root Chakra used for?
