Green is the folk colour of growth, luck and abundance and of the heart chakra. Styling: green brings the outdoors in; pair it with plants, rattan and natural wood. From the maker: Give the gift of crystal magic with this miniature potion bottle necklace. With natural green aventurine crystal chips and a cork stopper, this necklace serves as a spellbinding accessory while attracting luck, wealth and prosperity. Green Aventurine is quartz with mica inclusions, typically green with a glittering shimmer. It measures 6.5–7 on the Mohs hardness scale. Natural quartz with fuchsite mica. The shimmer is called aventurescence, a word borrowed from Venetian goldstone glass. Size: approximately 25.5 x 1.5 x 1.5cm, weighing about 8g. Natural material varies slightly in size, colour and markings. ## Traditions (belief, not health claims) Wearing stones as amulets is ancient; Egyptian, Greek and Roman jewellery often carried stones thought to protect or bring luck. In modern practice many people choose a stone for what it symbolises to them and wear it as a reminder of an intention. Green aventurine is known in folklore as a 'gambler's stone' and is associated with luck and opportunity. In modern crystal tradition green aventurine is linked with the heart chakra and with Taurus and Virgo. Traditional meanings are offered for interest and reflection, not as a health claim. ## How to use - For a luck ritual: pairing a luck candle with green aventurine, the 'gambler's stone', is a popular combination. - Wear it as a daily reminder of an intention. - Take it off before swimming, bathing or exercise. - It pairs traditionally with citrine or rose quartz. - Everyday idea: wear it on the wrist you notice most, so each glance is a reminder of your intention. - Stacking idea: bracelets of different stones stack well; mix textures, such as chips with round beads. - Gifting idea: jewellery is the classic birthstone gift; check the recipient's birth month first. ## Care - Wipe with a fine, slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away; steer clear of soaps, salt and long soaks. - Remove before showering or swimming, and keep away from perfume and lotions. ## Policies - Delivery: UK delivery £3.95, free over £40, 2–5 working days.
