Lit and left to smoulder, it releases a steady fragrant smoke that fills a room. From the maker: Bring a touch of nature's grace into the home with this lily pad ceramic incense stick holder and trinket dish. Providing a practical way to enjoy incense, this holder can also be used to store small trinkets on a vanity or bedside table. Size: approximately 3 x 9 x 9cm, weighing about 110g. Allow for small variations between batches. ## Traditions (belief, not health claims) Backflow and dhoop cones are a newer form: dense, stickless cones that burn quickly with a rich scent, favourite for short rituals. Many households light incense at dusk, a custom shared by Hindu, Buddhist and Catholic devotion where evening prayer is marked with fragrant smoke. We share these as cultural traditions and personal beliefs only, never as health claims. ## How to use - Try one scent for a week before switching, so you learn to recognise it. - Keep incense well away from smoke alarms, curtains and bookshelves. - Set a simple intention, then light the incense and blow out the flame. - Use a heat-proof burner or ash catcher. - Journalling idea: note the date, the moon phase and what you wished for, and look back a month later. - Storage: keep spares somewhere cool and dark so colours and scents stay fresh. - Ritual idea: write your intention on a slip of paper, read it aloud, then light the candle or incense. ## Care - Store sealed in a cool, dry rest to keep the fragrance fresh. ## Policies - Delivery: UK delivery £3.95, free over £40, 2–5 working days. UK addresses only. - Returns: You can cancel within 14 days of delivery under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations; email hello@starseeduk.co.uk to arrange a return and we refund within 14 days of receiving it back. - Payment: Payment is by debit or credit card (and the wallets Shopify supports) through secure Shopify checkout. ## Questions and answers (18) ### What is the Lily Pad Trinket Dish and Incense Stick Holder used for?
