The Heart chakra, Anahata in Sanskrit, sits at the centre of the chest in yogic tradition and is associated with love, compassion and connection. Its traditional colour is green (sometimes pink), its element is air and its seed sound (bija mantra) is YAM. Angels as winged messengers appear in Jewish, Christian and Islamic tradition and are a popular symbol of guardianship. It is made from glazed ceramic, so wipe it clean rather than scrubbing and handle it with care. From the maker: This large ceramic angel holds a metallic gold heart while softly glowing through a scattering of heart and star-shaped cut-outs. With its off-white finish and elegant gold halo, it adds warmth and gentle charm to peaceful interiors and meaningful gift displays. Size: approximately 24 x 14 x 13.5cm, weighing about 705g. Allow for small variations between batches. ## Traditions (belief, not health claims) Angels, from the Greek angelos, 'messenger', appear in Jewish, Christian and Islamic tradition as messengers and guardians. The guardian angel watching over each person is a long-standing Christian belief and a much-chosen symbol of comfort, often given to mark a new baby, a loss or a new start. We share these as cultural traditions and personal beliefs only, never as health claims. ## How to use - To work with the Heart Chakra, many practitioners play or place it while focusing on the centre of the chest. - Rest it by a bed, on a windowsill or in a memory corner. - LED decorations make a smooth night-light: switch off when you leave the room. - Home idea: a well-chosen object by the door or on a mantelpiece sets the tone of a room. - Gifting idea: a practical, beautiful item suits housewarmings and new-job presents. - Ritual idea: give the item a regular moment in your day, such as morning coffee or evening journalling. ## Care - Dust softly; remove LED batteries if stored for a long time. ## Policies - Delivery: UK delivery £3.95, free over £40, 2–5 working days.
