## Description

Large Aluminum Singing Bowl - Tibetan Double Dorjy Design - Blue (27cm) is a 27cm metal singing bowl. Struck or circled around the rim with a mallet, it produces a sustained tone with layered overtones that slowly fades.

The double dorje (vishvavajra) is a crossed thunderbolt symbol of Tibetan Buddhism, standing for stability.

Blue is associated with calm, the sea and the throat chakra, and with peace and honest speech in candle magic. Styling: blue tones suit coastal, Scandinavian and white-washed rooms, and look calm beside green plants.

At around 27cm this is the large, statement option: a centrepiece for a dresser, altar or sound space. Large pieces hold a whole collection of stones or jewellery and give the deepest, fullest presence in a room.

From the maker: Bring calm and balance into your space with this Large Aluminum Singing Bowl featuring a traditional Tibetan Double Dorje design in deep blue tones. Crafted from lightweight aluminium, the bowl is easy to handle while still offering a rich soothing sound. The matte blue finish and contrasting black sacred motifs give it a striking spiritual look that fits perfectly into boho interiors, wellness spaces, and calming home décor.

This is one of 2 options in the Large Aluminum Singing Bowl range; nearby choices include Buddha Tree of Life - Copper Colour (19cm).

Size: approximately 27cm. Allow for small variations between batches.

## Traditions (belief, not health claims)

Engraved designs such as mandalas, the Om symbol or the Buddha are decorative and devotional; they reflect the traditions the bowls come from. We share these as cultural traditions and personal beliefs only, never as health claims.

## How to use

- Tap the outside wall softly with the mallet to wake the bowl.
- Circle the rim slowly with even pressure; once it starts to sing, keep the speed steady.
- Group idea: in sound baths, players space bowls of different sizes around the room for layered tones.
- Practice tip: record yourself playing on your phone; it is the quickest way to hear whether your pressure is steady.
- Neighbour tip: rim playing is quieter than striking if you live in a flat.

## Care

- Avoid harsh polish on engraved or coloured finishes.
