## Description

Iridescent White Moon Pillar Oil Burner is a tealight oil burner: a small dish of water and oil sits above a tealight and lightly warms to scent a room.

White stands for new beginnings and cleansing, and can stand in for any other colour in candle magic. Styling: white is the most versatile finish, fitting minimal, Scandi and bohemian rooms alike.

It is made from glazed ceramic, so wipe it clean rather than scrubbing and handle it with care.

From the maker: Add a soft glow to your space with this iridescent white ceramic oil burner, featuring cut-out stars and a crescent moon that create a magical light display when a tealight is lit inside. Simply place a single standard tealight in the space at the back and add a few drops of diluted fragrance oil in the bowl.

Size: approximately 13 x 8.5 x 8.5cm, weighing about 340g. Allow for small variations between batches.

## Traditions (belief, not health claims)

Scenting a room with warmed oils has ancient roots: Egyptian, Greek and Roman homes burned perfumed oils in clay lamps. In modern home ritual, a favourite scent marks a change of mood, such as lighting the burner when work ends for the day. Traditional meanings are offered for interest and reflection, not as a health claim.

## How to use

- Stand it on a heat-proof base; the dish gets hot.
- Never leave a lit flame unattended, and keep it away from curtains, children and pets.
- Fill the dish with water, then add a few drops of oil, or drop one wax melt in the dish without water.
- Light a tealight underneath and never let the dish run dry.
- Journalling idea: note the date, the moon phase and what you wished for, and look back a month later.
- Storage: keep spares somewhere cool and dark so colours and scents stay fresh.
- Ritual idea: write your intention on a slip of paper, read it aloud, then light the candle or incense.

## Care

- Let it cool fully before cleaning. For wax, freeze the dish for ten minutes and the wax pops out.
