## Description

Heart Angel Taper Candle Holder is a decorative holder for candles, made to throw a warm glow around a room or altar.

The Heart chakra, Anahata in Sanskrit, sits at the centre of the chest in yogic tradition and is associated with love, compassion and connection. Its traditional colour is green (sometimes pink), its element is air and its seed sound (bija mantra) is YAM.

Angels as winged messengers appear in Jewish, Christian and Islamic tradition and are a popular symbol of guardianship.

It is made from glazed ceramic, so wipe it clean rather than scrubbing and handle it with care.

From the maker: This elegant angel-shaped taper candle holder features a soft off-white finish, delicate wings and a metallic gold heart. A charming addition to calming interiors, spiritual displays or meaningful gift collections.

Size: approximately 17 x 10 x 10cm, weighing about 405g. Allow for small variations between batches.

## Traditions (belief, not health claims)

Votive comes from the Latin votum, a vow: a votive light was lit as an offering or to keep a promise. Lighting a candle is one of the most widespread rituals, from church votives and Diwali diyas to a simple candle on a home altar. These are traditions and beliefs, described for interest, not health or medical claims.

## How to use

- To work with the Heart Chakra, many practitioners play or place it while focusing on the centre of the chest.
- Use with tealights or the candle size given on the listing.
- Stand it on a stable, heat-proof spot.
- Never leave a lit flame unattended, and keep it away from curtains, children and pets.
- Moon idea: the new moon is the traditional time for beginnings and the full moon for gratitude and release.
- Evening idea: light it as you switch off screens for the night, a simple cue to wind down.
- Safety: always use a heat-proof holder on a stable surface, away from curtains, children and pets.

## Care

- Remove old wax once cool; a little warm water helps lift it from glass and ceramic.
