## Description

Gold Baphomet LED Backflow Incense Burner is a backflow burner: when a backflow cone is lit on top, the smoke flows down through the piece like a waterfall.

Yellow and gold are sun colours, associated with confidence, joy and success. Styling: yellow and gold catch the light on a sunny shelf and lift a north-facing room.

It is cast in resin and hand-painted, which keeps it light and allows fine detail; display it indoors.

From the maker: Baphomet, the occult deity commonly portrayed by a winged half-human, half-goat figure, sits atop a horned skull on this amazing backflow incense burner. While adopted as an icon of the Church of Satan, Baphomet originated as a symbol of contrast and balance by the Knights Templar.

Size: approximately 22.5 x 15 x 12cm, weighing about 685g. Allow for small variations between batches.

## Traditions (belief, not health claims)

Backflow cones have a hollow core: the cooling smoke is heavier than air, so it sinks and pours over the burner's channels. Incense holders have taken many forms, from Chinese bronze censers to the boat-shaped ash catchers of Indian homes. Traditional meanings are offered for interest and reflection, not as a health claim.

## How to use

- Place on a heat-proof surface away from draughts, which break up the flow of smoke.
- Empty ash once cool.
- Never leave a lit flame unattended, and keep it away from curtains, children and pets.
- Use backflow cones for the waterfall effect; ordinary cones and sticks smoke upward.
- Safety: always use a heat-proof holder on a stable surface, away from curtains, children and pets.
- Ventilation: a slightly open window keeps scent pleasant and smoke light.
- Gifting idea: pair it with a matching crystal or a holder for a ready-made ritual gift.

## Care

- Wipe resin build-up with a damp cloth once cool; a cotton bud reaches small channels.
