## Description

Glow in the Dark Octagon Spirit Board is a decorative spirit board printed with the alphabet, numbers and 'yes' and 'no', with a planchette for parlour play.

From the maker: An octagon shaped spirit board with a Pentagram design and glow in the dark letters and numbers. Comes with a planchette for readings during spiritual connections.

Size: approximately 1 x 40 x 40cm, weighing about 540g. Allow for small variations between batches.

## Traditions (belief, not health claims)

Talking boards were a Victorian and Edwardian parlour game: the Ouija trademark dates from 1890 in Baltimore, at the height of the Spiritualist movement. Today spirit boards are mostly enjoyed as gothic décor, a Halloween game or a curiosity. Whatever you believe, it is treated as entertainment. We share these as cultural traditions and personal beliefs only, never as health claims.

## How to use

- Hang it as wall art or lay it on a coffee table as a talking point.
- For a Halloween game, two players rest fingertips lightly on the planchette.
- Home idea: a well-chosen object by the door or on a mantelpiece sets the tone of a room.
- Gifting idea: a practical, beautiful item suits housewarmings and new-job presents.
- Ritual idea: give the item a regular moment in your day, such as morning coffee or evening journalling.

## Care

- Wipe with a dry cloth; keep printed surfaces out of strong sun.
