## Description

Flower Fairy Wing Teacup is a fairy-themed piece, about 11 x 16.5 x 11.5cm, full of folklore charm.

Fairies, the 'good folk' of British and Irish folklore, were said to dance in fairy rings and reward kindness.

It is made from glazed ceramic, so wipe it clean rather than scrubbing and handle it with care.

From the maker: Make tea time feel a little more magical with this flower-shaped ceramic teacup, finished with a sculpted green fairy wing handle. A playful gift for birthdays, afternoon tea or anyone building a whimsical fairycore kitchen collection.450ml capacity.

Size: approximately 11 x 16.5 x 11.5cm, weighing about 480g. Allow for small variations between batches.

## Traditions (belief, not health claims)

The winged, delicate fairy came later, popularised by Victorian painters, Peter Pan and the Cottingley photographs of 1917. Fairies run deep in British and Irish folklore: the 'good folk' were said to dance in fairy rings, live under hills and reward those who left out milk or bread for them. We share these as cultural traditions and personal beliefs only, never as health claims.
