## Description

Fairy & Folk Tales Book Shaped Storage Box is a fairy-themed piece, about 21 x 16 x 5cm, full of folklore charm.

Fairies, the 'good folk' of British and Irish folklore, were said to dance in fairy rings and reward kindness.

From the maker: Hide keepsakes and tiny treasures inside this decorative book-shaped storage box, styled as a vintage Fairy & Folk Tales volume with gold detailing and a whimsical fairy illustration. Ideal for bookshelves, bedside tables and reading corners, it is a clever gift for bookworms and collectors of magical curiosities.

Size: approximately 21 x 16 x 5cm, weighing about 435g. Allow for small variations between batches.

## Traditions (belief, not health claims)

The winged, delicate fairy came later, popularised by Victorian painters, Peter Pan and the Cottingley photographs of 1917. Fairies run deep in British and Irish folklore: the 'good folk' were said to dance in fairy rings, live under hills and reward those who left out milk or bread for them. These are traditions and beliefs, described for interest, not health or medical claims.
