Struck or circled around the rim with a mallet, it produces a sustained tone with layered overtones that slowly fades. A mandala is a circular cosmic diagram from Hindu and Buddhist art; Tibetan monks create them in coloured sand and then sweep them away as a lesson in impermanence. At around 16cm this is the large, statement option: a centrepiece for a dresser, altar or sound space. Large pieces hold a whole collection of stones or jewellery and give the deepest, fullest presence in a room. We share these as cultural traditions and personal beliefs only, never as health claims. ## How to use - Circle the rim slowly with even pressure; once it starts to sing, keep the speed steady. - For a softer sound, strike rather than rub, and let each tone fade fully. - Gifting idea: a ready-to-play set is a thoughtful present for a yoga teacher or a friend starting meditation. - Display idea: between sessions, a bowl on its cushion makes a striking shelf or altar piece. - Session idea: strike once at the start of a meditation and let the tone fade completely before you begin. ## Care - Store somewhere dry and away from hard objects that could dent the rim. ## Policies - Delivery: UK delivery £3.95, free over £40, 2–5 working days.
