Stars have guided navigators and storytellers for millennia; celestial designs bring the night sky indoors. Black is the traditional colour of protection and of banishing what is unwanted. Styling: black looks dramatic on a gothic altar and crisp against white walls. This is one of 4 options in the Cauldron Oil Burner range; nearby choices include Tree of Life - Black, Moon Phase - Black, Moon Phase - White. Various Shaped Ceramic Oil Burners. One oil burner. ## Traditions (belief, not health claims) In modern home ritual, a favourite scent marks a change of mood, such as lighting the burner when work ends for the day. Traditional meanings are offered for interest and reflection, not as a health claim. ## How to use - Stand it on a heat-proof surface; the dish gets hot. - Never leave a lit flame unattended, and keep it away from curtains, children and pets. - Journalling idea: note the date, the moon phase and what you wished for, and look back a month later. - Storage: keep spares somewhere cool and dark so colours and scents stay fresh. - Ritual idea: write your intention on a slip of paper, read it aloud, then light the candle or incense. ## Care - Let it cool fully before cleaning. For wax, freeze the dish for ten minutes and the wax pops out. ## Policies - Delivery: UK delivery £3.95, free over £40, 2–5 working days.
