## Description

Book of Spells Oil Burner and Wax Warmer are scented wax melts: small pieces of fragranced wax that release their scent when warmed in a burner, with no wick.

It is made from glazed ceramic, so wipe it clean rather than scrubbing and handle it with care.

From the maker: Infuse your space with magical fragrances using this oil burner designed to look like a stack of spell books. A perfect addition to gothic décor or as a thoughtful gift for fans of witchy aesthetics.

Size: approximately 13 x 11.5 x 9cm, weighing about 570g. Allow for small variations between batches.

## Traditions (belief, not health claims)

Scenting a room with warmed oils has ancient roots: Egyptian, Greek and Roman homes burned perfumed oils in clay lamps. In modern home ritual, a favourite scent marks a change of mood, such as lighting the burner when work ends for the day. Traditional meanings are offered for interest and reflection, not as a health claim.

## How to use

- Stand it on a heat-proof base; the dish gets hot.
- Never leave a lit flame unattended, and keep it away from curtains, children and pets.
- Fill the dish with water, then add a few drops of oil, or drop one wax melt in the dish without water.
- Light a tealight underneath and never let the dish run dry.
- Evening idea: light it as you switch off screens for the night, a simple cue to wind down.
- Safety: always use a heat-proof holder on a stable surface, away from curtains, children and pets.
- Ventilation: a slightly open window keeps scent pleasant and smoke light.

## Care

- Let it cool fully before cleaning. For wax, freeze the dish for ten minutes and the wax pops out.
