## Description

Black Haunted House Incense Cone Holder is a holder that keeps burning incense steady and catches the falling ash.

Black is the traditional colour of protection and of banishing what is unwanted. Styling: black looks dramatic on a gothic altar and crisp against white walls.

It is cast in resin and hand-painted, which keeps it light and allows fine detail; display it indoors.

From the maker: Set the scene for Halloween with this resin haunted house incense cone holder. Designed to use with standard incense cones, it sends smoke curling through the chimney for a delightfully spooky effect.

Size: approximately 15 x 9.5 x 5.5cm, weighing about 245g. Allow for small variations between batches.

## Traditions (belief, not health claims)

Incense holders have taken many forms, from Chinese bronze censers to the boat-shaped ash catchers of Indian homes. Backflow cones have a hollow core: the cooling smoke is heavier than air, so it sinks and pours over the burner's channels. Traditional meanings are offered for interest and reflection, not as a health claim.

## How to use

- Empty ash once cool.
- Never leave a lit flame unattended, and keep it away from curtains, children and pets.
- Use backflow cones for the waterfall effect; ordinary cones and sticks smoke upward.
- Set on a heat-proof spot away from draughts, which break up the flow of smoke.
- Evening idea: light it as you switch off screens for the night, a simple cue to wind down.
- Safety: always use a heat-proof holder on a stable surface, away from curtains, children and pets.
- Ventilation: a slightly open window keeps scent pleasant and smoke light.

## Care

- Wipe resin build-up with a damp cloth once cool; a cotton bud reaches small channels.
