Luck candles are often green, the folk colour of good fortune, and sometimes carry a horseshoe, clover or charm. Traditionally they are lit before a new venture, a test or a draw, often on the waxing moon. Pairing a luck candle with green aventurine, the 'gambler's stone', is a popular combination. From the maker: This black celestial teacup can be used for reading tea leaves which are interpreted to predict the future or gain insight into one's life. Featuring an astrology wheel design with signs of the zodiac in a premium, white and gold finish, and accompanied by a matching black saucer. Size: approximately 17.5 x 18 x 18cm, weighing about 610g. Allow for small variations between batches. ## Traditions (belief, not health claims) Hearth and home sit at the heart of folk witchcraft: the 'kitchen witch' tradition finds magic in everyday tasks such as brewing tea, tending plants and keeping a tidy threshold. Brooms, cauldrons, potion bottles and moons became the visual language of witches through folklore, Victorian illustration and film. Traditional meanings are offered for interest and reflection, not as a health claim. ## How to use - For a luck ritual: pairing a luck candle with green aventurine, the 'gambler's stone', is a popular combination. - Use it every day or keep it on show as a seasonal piece for Samhain and Halloween. - Group it with candles, plants and books for a cosy witchy shelf. - Home idea: a well-chosen object by the door or on a mantelpiece sets the tone of a room. - Gifting idea: a practical, beautiful item suits housewarmings and new-job presents. - Ritual idea: give the item a regular moment in your day, such as morning coffee or evening journalling. ## Care - Hand wash where relevant and dry straight away; check the listing for dishwasher or food-safe notes. ## Policies - Delivery: UK delivery £3.95, free over £40, 2–5 working days.
