Struck or circled around the rim with a mallet, it produces a sustained tone with layered overtones that slowly fades. The toadstool is a fairy-tale symbol of the otherworld in British and European folklore, from fairy rings to Alice in Wonderland. Pink is the traditional colour of affection, friendship and self-kindness. Styling: pink softens a bedroom or dressing table and works beautifully with gold and white. At around 20cm this is the large, statement option: a centrepiece for a dresser, altar or sound space. Large pieces hold a whole collection of stones or jewellery and give the deepest, fullest presence in a room. From the maker: Featuring engraved mushroom and botanical artwork across the inner surface, it combines playful woodland symbolism with calming spiritual energy. Made from lightweight aluminium, it is easy to handle yet offers a rich decorative finish that stands out beautifully in any setting. The black exterior contrasts elegantly with the pink etched detailing, giving the bowl a modern boho look that pairs naturally with crystals, incense, moon décor, and alternative wellness collections. Also in this range (3 in total): Magic Mushroom - Blue (20cm), Magic Mushroom - Green (20cm). Size: approximately 20cm. Allow for small variations between batches. ## Traditions (belief, not health claims) In meditation and sound practice, the bowl's fading tone is used as a focal point, and bowls are commonly played at the beginning and end of a session. We share these as cultural traditions and personal beliefs only, never as health claims. ## How to use - Circle the rim slowly with even pressure; once it starts to sing, keep the speed steady. - For a softer sound, strike rather than rub, and let each tone fade fully. - Gifting idea: a ready-to-play set is a thoughtful present for a yoga teacher or a friend starting meditation. - Display idea: between sessions, a bowl on its cushion makes a striking shelf or altar piece. - Session idea: strike once at the start of a meditation and let the tone fade completely before you begin. ## Care - Store somewhere dry and away from hard objects that could dent the rim. ## Policies - Delivery: UK delivery £3.95, free over £40, 2–5 working days. UK addresses only. - Returns: You can cancel within 14 days of delivery under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations; email hello@starseeduk.co.uk to arrange a return and we refund within 14 days of receiving it back. - Payment: Payment is by debit or credit card (and the wallets Shopify supports) through secure Shopify checkout. ## Other versions - [Aluminum Singing Bowl - Magic Mushroom - Blue (20cm)](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/products/aluminum-singing-bowl-magic-mushroom-blue-20cm990): £22.40 - [Aluminum Singing Bowl - Magic Mushroom - Green (20cm)](https://www.starseeduk.co.uk/products/aluminum-singing-bowl-magic-mushroom-green-20cm991): £22.40 ## Questions and answers (14) ### What is the Aluminum Singing Bowl - Magic Mushroom - Pink (20cm) used for?
