Struck or circled around the rim with a mallet, it produces a sustained tone with layered overtones that slowly fades. The toadstool is a fairy-tale symbol of the otherworld in British and European folklore, from fairy rings to Alice in Wonderland. Blue is associated with calm, the sea and the throat chakra, and with peace and honest speech in candle magic. Styling: blue tones suit coastal, Scandinavian and white-washed rooms, and look calm beside green plants. At around 20cm this is the large, statement option: a centrepiece for a dresser, altar or sound space. Large pieces hold a whole collection of stones or jewellery and give the deepest, fullest presence in a room. From the maker: Featuring engraved mushroom and botanical artwork throughout the interior, it blends woodland-inspired symbolism with calming spiritual design. Made from lightweight aluminium, it is easy to handle while maintaining a durable and refined finish. Also in this range (3 in total): Magic Mushroom - Green (20cm), Magic Mushroom - Pink (20cm). Size: approximately 20cm. Allow for small variations between batches. ## Traditions (belief, not health claims) Singing bowls are associated with the Himalayan region. Bowls made there have customarily been hand-hammered or cast from metal alloys, and many carry engraved mantras or symbols. These are traditions and beliefs, described for interest, not health or medical claims. ## How to use - Place the bowl on a cushion or your flat, open palm. - Tap the outside wall gently with the mallet to wake the bowl. - Session idea: strike once at the start of a meditation and let the tone fade completely before you begin. - Yoga idea: teachers often sound a bowl or bells to open savasana or to mark the close of class. - Home idea: a short sound practice after work is a simple way to mark the switch from work to rest. ## Care - Wipe with a fine, dry cloth after use; skin oils can mark the metal. ## Policies - Delivery: UK delivery £3.95, free over £40, 2–5 working days.
