Angels as winged messengers appear in Jewish, Christian and Islamic tradition and are a popular symbol of guardianship. It is made from glazed ceramic, so wipe it clean rather than scrubbing and handle it with care. From the maker: Wrapped in sculpted angel wings and scattered with tiny star cut-outs, this off-white oil burner casts a delicate glow as it fills the room with fragrance. Suitable for fragrance oils and wax melts, it creates a heavenly focal point for calming interiors. Size: approximately 14 x 13 x 13cm, weighing about 660g. Allow for small variations between batches. ## Traditions (belief, not health claims) Scenting a room with warmed oils has ancient roots: Egyptian, Greek and Roman homes burned perfumed oils in clay lamps. In modern home ritual, a favourite scent marks a change of mood, such as lighting the burner when work ends for the day. We share these as cultural traditions and personal beliefs only, never as health claims. ## How to use - Stand it on a heat-proof base; the dish gets hot. - Never leave a lit flame unattended, and keep it away from curtains, children and pets. - Fill the dish with water, then add a few drops of oil, or drop one wax melt in the dish without water. - Light a tealight underneath and never let the dish run dry. - Evening idea: light it as you switch off screens for the night, a simple cue to wind down. - Safety: always use a heat-proof holder on a stable surface, away from curtains, children and pets. - Ventilation: a slightly open window keeps scent pleasant and smoke light. ## Care - Let it cool fully before cleaning. For wax, freeze the dish for ten minutes and the wax pops out. ## Policies - Delivery: UK delivery £3.95, free over £40, 2–5 working days. UK addresses only. - Returns: You can cancel within 14 days of delivery under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations; email hello@starseeduk.co.uk to arrange a return and we refund within 14 days of receiving it back. - Payment: Payment is by debit or credit card (and the wallets Shopify supports) through secure Shopify checkout. ## Questions and answers (19) ### What is the 3D Angel Wing Oil Burner and Wax Warmer used for?
